Support offered

Our aim is to provide more than simply a room. We offer a supportive living environment where tenants can feel secure, respected and listened to, while receiving practical support tailored around their individual circumstances and goals. What You Can Expect Our properties provide clean, comfortable rooms and shared communal facilities, with a dedicated support team available to help tenants maintain their accommodation and work towards greater independence. Every tenant is treated as an individual. Your support is based around your needs, circumstances and personal goals, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. A support worker will meet with you regularly, generally on a weekly basis, to check how you are doing, discuss any concerns and help you work towards the goals identified in your support plan. Practical Support When You Need It Our support team can assist with a wide range of everyday issues, including: • Universal Credit and benefits – support with understanding correspondence, preparing for appointments and managing benefit-related responsibilities. • Budgeting and finances – practical guidance with budgeting, managing income and prioritising essential expenditure. • Tenancy support – helping you understand your responsibilities and maintain your accommodation successfully. • Health and wellbeing – support to register with health services, arrange appointments and access appropriate services. • Appointments – where appropriate, we can attend appointments with you and provide support with communication and understanding information. • Advocacy – helping you communicate your needs and ensuring your views are heard when dealing with relevant services. • Referrals and signposting – helping you access specialist services when additional support is required. • Alcohol and substance misuse – non-judgemental support and assistance with accessing appropriate specialist services. • Independent living skills – support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, routines and maintaining your room. • Employment, education and training – encouragement and practical support where you want to develop your skills or move towards employment or education. • Move-on support – helping you work towards longer-term or more independent accommodation when you are ready. • Housing applications – practical assistance with exploring suitable housing options and progressing applications. • Maintenance – support with reporting property issues and ensuring concerns are appropriately followed up. • Community and daily living – encouragement to build confidence, develop independence and engage positively within your community.
